NEW HARTFORD, N.Y., August 18, 2021 – For nearly 50 years, the member companies of the Utica National Insurance Group have provided coverages and services for schools while being committed to the health and safety of students and staff. With that in mind, Utica National is hosting the COVID-19 Continues: Q&A to Help You Safely Reopen Your School webinar on August 24, 2021, to help schools safely reopen.
The session, which is free and is open to all schools countrywide, will feature infectious disease expert Dr. Thomas A. Russo, from the Buffalo, NY VA Medical Center, and Jay Worona, Deputy Executive Director and General Counsel for the New York State School Boards Association. Dr. Russo and Mr. Worona will answer questions on requirements, recommendations, and potential legal repercussions.
Schools can register for the webinar here. For questions or help registering, please contact Educational Institutions Segment Specialist Mike Centrone at 716-639-2347 or michael.centrone@uticanational.com.
“Schools continue to be presented with challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, especially helping to keep students and staff safe and healthy as they begin the 2021-2022 school year,” said Brian Saville, Senior Vice President of Utica National’s Educational Institutions Unit. “Because that is so important, this webinar is available to all schools throughout the country.”
